
Jennifer Bowering Delisle’s collection of lyric essays, Micrographia (2023) won the Robert Kroetsch City of Edmonton Book Prize and the Writers Guild of Alberta Memoir Award. She is also the author of Deriving, a collection of poetry (2021) and The Bosun Chair, a lyric family memoir (2017). Her newest book is Stock, (2025), a collection of poetry responding to stock photography.
She is a board member and editor with NeWest Press, and regularly teaches creative writing classes and workshops. She is also the co-chair of the League of Canadian Poets’ Parenting Poets Committee.
She completed a PhD in English at the University of British Columbia in 2008, and is the author of The Newfoundland Diaspora: Mapping the Literature of Out-Migration (Wilfrid Laurier University Press, 2013).
She lives in amiskwaciwâskahikan / Edmonton on Treaty 6 territory with her husband and two children.
